On 23 September, Norbert Kazamer (ProPuls) presented the SWEETHY approach to green hydrogen production at the workshop “Emerging Materials for Efficient Energy Storage, Conversion, and Sustainable Fuel Production” at the Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research (JNCASR) in Bengaluru, India.
India’s extensive coastline makes direct seawater electrolysis a particularly relevant topic for exchange. Discussions with researchers were valuable for examining the scientific and technical challenges and exploring future collaborations, especially in the context of the closer cooperation between India and the EU under Horizon Europe.
The workshop was organised and funded by the Indo-German Science and Technology Centre (IGSTC).
